the people in our community who care passionately about our local environment.
It is of
paramount importance to Ealing Council that the role that you will fulfil will be meaningful and rewarding for both parties.
As a Community Champion
we aim to provide you with proactive volunteering opportunities which help to deliver projects to improve your local Community.
Whether you are interested in planting trees and the welfare of your local street trees or you are a regular park user who
can report on matters related to green spaces, we welcome your interest and engagement. Our aim is to create a network of
communities that can help local neighbourhoods thrive.
We provide a robust reporting system which allows you to use a unique identification
number to report environmental issues. This can include fly-tipping, graffiti, lack of street cleansing, missed refuse
collections and matters related to the Highway.
You will also receive dates of the next Ward Forum meetings where you will be able
to meet like -minded people.
In the meantime, please complete the enclosed Equal Opportunities and Community Champions interest form.
If you have an email address or a phone number I would appreciate details of these. I am available to answer any queries
you may have before deciding whether this role is for you.
